“In 2000 Angelika Kampfer, photographer, was invited by Prof. Dr. Jörg Keckstein to complete a documentary on the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics at the local hospital in Villach. Over a period of three months she was completely free to move around in the hospital. The result was an impressive documentation of surgery, birth and dying, conversations, loneliness and help offered.”
